Canon - Nikon

Nem gondolom, hogy lenne olyan fotós közeg, ahol ez a téma még ne vetődött volna fel. Egy-két szempont ahogy én látom:
I don't think there's any media or group of photography where this issue hasn't been arisen. Some aspects as I see them:

Fókuszmotor Canon 1987 óta EOS (elecrto-optical system) vázakat gyárt, azaz a gép ég az objektív kizárólag elektronikusan kapcsolódik, a fókszmotor az objektívben van. Ellentétben a Nikon csak az utóbbi egy-két évben készített ilyen vázakat. Mi az előnye a Nikon "MOS"-nak (ahogy én nevezem - Mechanic Optical System; na jó, itt is van blende és fókuszállás elektromos átvitele), ahol a fókuszálás a vázban található fókuszmotorral egy tengely segítségével?
Focusmotor Canon produces EOS (elector-optical system) camera bodies till 1987, in other words the frame and the optics are connected only electronically, the focus motor is built into the objective. In contrary Nikon has been producing such bodies only in the past few years. What's the advantage of the Nikon "MOS" (as I call it - Mechanic Optical System; al right, they also communicate the apperture and focus values electronically), where the focusing is done by the focus motor being built into the body?

Nikon D40

Nikonosok azt mondják, hogy olcsóbbak az optikák, hogy nem kell bele fókuszmotor. A fejlődés azonban USM motorok felé mutat, olyan sebességgel pedig egyértelműen nem lehet a fókuszálást a vázból vezérelni. (Akkor már inkább a Sony váz-IS.)
Nikon users say the optics are cheaper this way, not containing the focus motor. However, evolution points towards USM motors, and it's clearly impossible to focus that fast with a motor from the body. (Than rather consider a Sony IS-body.)

Fókuszpontok Canonnál a 2003-as modellekben (10D, 300D) már 7 fókusz pont volt; egyik barátom vett nem rég D60-t, akkor vettem észre, hogy abban 3 fókuszpont van. (Jó, sokszor elég 3 is, de nagyon nem szeretném, ha e miatt nem jönne össze egy egyébként kifogástalan fotó.)
Focus points Since the 2003 models (10D, 300D) Canon frames have at least 7 focus points; one of my friends has bought lately a D60, it was then that I recognized that it has only 3 focus points. (OK, in many cases 3 is enough, but I won't like to screw up one of my best chances of capturing a perfect scene by being off-focus.)

Full frame A következő táblázatban a full frame vázak narancssárgák, a Nikon "EOS" vázak zöldek (a Canonnál az összes modellt nem akartam zöldre festeni).

Ergonómia A vázaknak az egyik legfontosabb pontját emelném ki: az exponáló gomb. Magától megtalálja az ember ujja a Canon vázon, olyan jól esik az a kis bemélyedés
Ergonomy Just to talk about one of the most important aspects of ergonomy on a camera body let's take a look at the exposure button. On a Canon frame that small bight is so comfortable, that your finger finds the button on its own.

Fényerős optikák lehetőségei A nikon bajonett 44 mm átmérőjű, a Canon vázakon ez 51 mm, következésképp a Nikon f/1,2-es alapobjektíve már "legendás" volt, addig a Canon-nak már autofókusz előtti idők óta van f/1,0-ás optikája.
Capability for fast optics The diameter of the Nikon bayonet is 44 mm, the Canon ones are 51 mm, consequently while the Nikon f/1.2 basic objective was "legendary", Canon already had f/1.0 ones before the autofocus days.
Ami Nikonéknál tetszett, és Canonnál nem volt még hasonló, az a 6mm-es halszem
What looks good at Nikon, and Canon didn't have something like that was the 6mm fisheye
(ellenben a Canonnak van a legnagyobb teleobjektíve (1200mm)). Persze feltehetőleg egyikünk sem fog ilyen optikákat használni életében...
(though Canon has the largest telephoto objective (1200mm)). But of course presumably none of us will use such optics in our lives.

Egyelőre ennyi jutott eszembe; pixel háborút mindketten szépen űzik...
This much for the time being; they both fight the pixel war with nice results...
